Service Description

Pottery for Two: At $225/2 people, this is our 3-4 hour small group session built for two. We start with an overview of tools, project ideas and the abundant possibilities for your imagination to work on. Regardless of your experience level, there will be several options to fit you! Bring an open mind, detailed drawing or other ideas. We can accommodate most any project (one we can start and finish in 3-4 hours). We designed this class to provide a creative experience without the limitations of a prescribed project or color theme. GDP staff will complete all firing, including a clear glaze on pieces if desired. This session includes tools, materials, instruction and firing...and maybe some spontaneous inspiration on the side. Some notes: We're often asked about how much, how big or how many. Within our scheduled time of 3-4 hours it would be very difficult to adequately address the design, construction and coloring of any one piece larger than 8-10 lbs of clay (the "how much"). The firing space in our kiln is 30" H by 26" W (the "how big"). As a practicing potter/artist, Michael would consider taking on 1-3 pieces in a 3-4 hour session. Examples: a very detailed and complex design-make 1 piece. Cancellation Policy

In our garden studio space limited seating is one of the aesthetic benefits you'll get while creating at GDP. To provide the best experience possible, we request that you cancel at least 48 hours before a scheduled class. You may cancel by phone, text, email or online here. If you have to cancel your class, we offer you a credit to your account if you cancel before the 48 hours, but do not offer refunds. You may use these credits towards any future class. However, if you do not cancel prior to the 48 hours, you will lose the payment for the class. The owner has the only right to be flexible here.
